A Real Hero

Our Story

A nerdy guy called Alan (everyone calls him Al), had a dream about making comic books, cartoons and games. He also dreamed of being an astronaut – that didn’t work out either.

We skip to 2020 and half way through the pandemic, having feelings of anxiety and depression, a call for a creative outlet came. Over the next year, speaking to hundreds of artists and writers a network was built – the Comicspiration Creative Network.

Contributors came and went as Comicspiration grew from a one man band to a start-up publisher, deals with Monopoly Events and University of Portsmouth helped develop the business further and as of 2023, we have 5 story series across two universes in production with many more to follow – this is only just the beginning.

Creative Network

We’re super passionate about our medium and want to tell great stories but also produce them in an ethical and sustainable way. As part of that we take pride in working collaboratively with our artist and build relationships that allow creativity to thrive.

We’re always looking to connect with passionate people, we have artists from England to Argentina to Italy to New Jersey, USA – we’re global and our love for this medium is indefinite. We attend all the major Cons in the UK (we’re based in London) and hope to attend the big Cons in Europe and the US very soon.

Don’t be a stranger

Want to create your own comic book universe? Work with us? Or learn more about our stories? Great, get in touch!

We’re always looking for great projects to work on and awesome writers and illustrators to join our network.
