If you are a big Superman fan and located in the UK, then we have some great news just for you!

Superman and Lois on BBC iPlayer!

That’s right, one of the latest additions to the DC-CW collaborations is finally available for audiences in the UK.

This comes after the show initially aired on the CW in the US on the 23rd of February this year.

Now, almost an entire year later, fans will not have to trawl the internet to find pirated copies of it, (which we obviously don’t condone…) as it comes to the UK’s number one streaming service.

What is is about?

The show is set within the Arrowverse as you probably guessed due to Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane.

Joining Lois and Clark, we have their two teenage sons, Jonathan Kent, played by Jordan Elsass and Jordan Kent, played by Alex Garfin. Both boys have been named to honour Clark’s adoptive father Jonathan Kent and Jor-El, his biological father.

From the trailer above, we can see that Lois and Clark have recently decided to move back to Smallville to raise the kids in the small town community they likely missed in Metropolis and with the family spending more time together, Clark finally reveals his super hero identity to his sons.

Over the course of the series, we see the family relationship develop, old friends meeting with the Kents and seeing their families years later than viewers are used to.

And we might even get a chance to see young Jonathan and Jordan coming to terms with exactly who they are having learned their father’s extraterrestrial origins.

Season 2

Although we are getting the show much later than audiences in the US, it does put us in a pretty good position when it comes to what happens next.

The second season is already completed and due to air on the CW on the 11th of January 2022.

Whether or not that means we will see it quite so soon remains to be seen but we will keep you posted!

Have you seen Superman and Lois yet? What did you think?
